Diana Vreeland began her career in fashion journalism as a columnist at Harper's Bazaar, and moved up the ranks to become the fashion  editor. From there she became the editor in chief at Vogue, and created masterful exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Diana was known for her wit, her passion for fashion and her unique point of view. "Fashion must be the most intoxicating release from the banality of the world" (Vreeland). Her friends included celebrities and royalty. Her autobiography takes the reader on a glamorous, high society journey and reveals how this remarkable woman influenced the fashion industry for fifty years.
